The data provided through this web site is the same information
available from public access terminals located in our local
assessment offices.
Real
Property Data Search
You can obtain
ownership and value information about every parcel of real property
in the State of Maryland (approximately 2,500,000 accounts) from
this database, as well as sales of real property.

Thursday and Saturday morning. While we have confidence
in the accuracy of these records, the Department makes no warranties,

Business Data Search
This
business database contains Index information for security interest
(UCC) filings; Agent and personal property assessment information
for corporations, limited liability companies, limited liability
partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability limited partnerships,
professional corporations, and trade names.

Rate
Stabilization Property Notice
The Rate Stabilization Property Notice (RSN-1) filed by electric companies
and secured parties for the securization for the recovery of rate stabilization
costs can be viewed as a document image from this database. A Notice is searchable
by the name of the grantor, the financing party, the Public Service Commission Rate
Order Number/Case Number, or the Department's identification number assigned to the filing.
The database maintains a historical record system of all Notices filed.
Certificate of Status
Print an official Certificate of Status (Certificate of Good
Standing) from SDAT. Authenticity of Certificates requested
on-line can be verified within this system. Click on Certificate
of Status and navigate to Verify Certificate located
on the left side of the page under Links. Enter the seven
(7) digit number printed at the bottom right hand corner of the
Certificate to verify its authenticity.
