Effective July 1, 1996, the Maryland Department of Planning will
be responsible for the final production of property maps. The Department
of Assessments will no longer accept requests from Federal, State,
County or Municipal Governmental Agencies. The distribution of property
maps will be processed by the Maryland Department of Planning. These
governmental agencies requests for property maps will be referred
to Maryland Department of Planning, Planning Data Services Division,
