Department’s Values Compared to Property Sale Prices

The data in the chart below shows the distribution of 41,945 arms-length sales of improved residential and condominium properties in
Group 2 with sales dates between July 1, 2004 and June 30, 2005. Ratios compare the Department’s January 1, 2005, value to the actual sale price. 167 sales with ratios below 40% or over 160% are excluded from this chart.
